Stainless Steel 321/321H Forged Fittings are titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steels with application for high-temperature service. The chemical makeup consists of Chromium (17-19%), Nickel (9-12%), Titanium (≥5xC%), and trace Carbon content (321: ≤0.08%, 321H: 0.04–0.10%). These grades have good mechanical properties, such as a minimum tensile strength of 515 MPa, a minimum yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. 321H has better creep resistance because of increased carbon content. Both grades resist intergranular corrosion after high-temperature exposure and are well suited for applications needing good thermal stability.
