Stainless Steel 17-7 PH Flanges consist largely of chromium (about 17%) and nickel (about 7%), with traces of aluminum for improving precipitation hardening. This alloy has high strength, good fatigue resistance, and satisfactory corrosion resistance. Its mechanical characteristics are tensile strength of as high as 1300 MPa and yield strength of around 1100 MPa, subject to the heat treatment condition.
