MERIH STAINLESS, located in Istanbul, Turkey, stands out as a top manufacturer and supplier of high-quality stainless steel welding consumables. By collaborating with manufacturers in Da Nang, Vietnam, they offer premium AWS Class E316/316H-16 electrodes that are celebrated for their outstanding corrosion resistance, reliability, and performance even in the toughest conditions. MERIH STAINLESS is dedicated to precision and consistency, ensuring that every electrode meets international standards, making them a go-to choice for industries that need durable and efficient welding solutions. Their extensive global supply network, rigorous quality control, and innovative production methods have earned them a reputation as a trusted partner for clients looking for high-grade stainless steel electrodes for critical applications.
The AWS Class E316/316H-16 electrodes are primarily made up of chromium (18–20%), nickel (10–14%), and molybdenum (2–3%), which gives them excellent resistance to pitting and corrosion, especially in chloride-rich environments. The “H” grade features a higher carbon content, which boosts creep and stress rupture strength at elevated temperatures. In terms of mechanics, these electrodes showcase impressive tensile strength, typically around 75 ksi (515 MPa), with a yield strength of about 30 ksi (205 MPa) and an elongation of nearly 35%, providing both durability and flexibility. Their weld deposits create smooth, crack-resistant seams with exceptional toughness, making them perfect for structurally demanding applications where corrosion resistance and mechanical integrity are essential.
