The standard chemical composition consists of Chromium (16–18%), Nickel (6.5–7.75%), Aluminum (0.75–1.5%), and Carbon ≤0.09%. These fittings have enhanced mechanical properties, including tensile strength up to 1100 MPa, yield strength up to 965 MPa, and high hardness upon heat treatment. The 17-7 PH grade retains its strength and durability through a broad range of temperatures and is specially resistant to fatigue, thus suitable for high-stress applications.
