Stainless Steel 202 flanges are primarily made up of 17–19% chromium, 4–6% nickel, and 6–7% manganese, with the remainder being iron and trace elements. This unique blend gives them an austenitic structure, decent corrosion resistance, and good formability. In terms of mechanics, SS 202 flanges boast a tensile strength of about 520–750 MPa, a yield strength of around 275–310 MPa, and an elongation of nearly 35%, making them quite resilient under moderate stress. They have a hardness that falls between 201–217 HB and can maintain stability at temperatures reaching up to 870°C.
