Stainless Steel 347H Bars are mainly made up of iron, chromium (17–20%), nickel (9–13%), and a maximum of 0.10% carbon, with columbium (niobium) added for improved stabilization. This alloy is specifically engineered for high-temperature applications, providing outstanding resistance to intergranular corrosion. Its mechanical properties include a minimum tensile strength of about 515 MPa, a yield strength of at least 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40% at minimum. With a maximum Brinell hardness of 217, these bars are perfect for environments that demand strength, oxidation resistance, and long-lasting durability under thermal stress.
