These fittings are crafted to harness the exceptional corrosion resistance of the 904L alloy while ensuring the strength and reliability that comes with forged construction. Perfect for tough and aggressive environments, MERIH STAINLESS guarantees that every forged fitting adheres to strict international standards for dimensional accuracy, mechanical properties, and leak-proof integrity. They are particularly well-suited for industries that handle acids, chloride-rich substances, and operate under high temperatures or pressures. With their durability and reliability, these fittings excel in demanding sectors like chemical processing, petrochemicals, marine applications, and pollution control.
Stainless Steel 904L is a superaustenitic alloy (UNS N08904 / EN 1.4539 / X1NiCrMoCu25-20-5) with a chemical makeup that includes:
Nickel (Ni): 23-28%
Chromium (Cr): 19-23%
Molybdenum (Mo): ~4.0-5.0%
Copper (Cu): ~1.0-2.0%
Carbon (C): ≤ 0.02%
Manganese (Mn): ≤ 2.0%
Silicon (Si): ≤ 1.0%
Phosphorus & Sulfur are both kept low (≤ 0.045 and ≤ 0.035% respectively).
When it comes to mechanical properties, 904L forged fittings typically showcase:
Tensile Strength: ~ 490 MPa minimum
Yield Strength (0.2% offset): ~ 220 MPa minimum
Elongation: ~ 35% minimum in a 50mm gauge

We ensures the highest standards for its stainless steel 904L forged fittings, rigorously testing them for durability, strength and corrosion resistance. Each fitting undergoes extensive quality control procedures and is certified to appropriate industry standards. Certifications such as material testing reports (MTRs) and third-party reviews ensure reliability and efficiency.
These fittings are available in sizes from 1/8″ to 4″ and offer reliable, leak-free connections in high-pressure systems. They are commonly used in petrochemical, power generation, and oil and gas industries.
Threaded fittings, ranging from 1/8″ to 4″, provide ease of installation and maintenance. Suitable for low-pressure applications, they are widely used in plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
These elbows, available in sizes from 1/8″ to 4″, allow for smooth directional flow changes. They are ideal for piping systems requiring high-strength connections and reduced flow resistance.
Threaded tees, in sizes ranging from 1/8″ to 4″, branch off the main line in a piping system. They provide reliable performance in various industrial and commercial applications.
These couplings, available in sizes from 1/8″ to 4″, join two pipes or fittings. They offer easy assembly and disassembly, making them suitable for maintenance and repair work.
Socket weld crosses, ranging from 1/8″ to 4″, are designed to connect four pipes at a single junction. They are used in high-pressure applications where a strong, leak-proof connection is essential.
Stainless Steel 904L Forged Fittings are commonly utilized in systems that demand both high corrosion resistance and dependable pipe connections. You’ll often find them in chemical processing plants, especially those dealing with sulfuric, phosphoric, and acetic acids, as well as in oil and gas installations, and marine and offshore structures that face harsh conditions.
