The AWS Class ER310 MIG and TIG Filler Welding Wire and Rod is an austenitic stainless steel alloy that boasts around 25% chromium and 20% nickel. This composition grants it remarkable resistance to oxidation and scaling at temperatures reaching up to 1100°C. It retains good ductility and toughness, even when subjected to thermal cycling. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 550 MPa, a yield strength of roughly 240 MPa, and an elongation of around 35%. This filler metal is designed to provide stable arc characteristics, minimal spatter, and strong metallurgical bonding, making it perfect for demanding, high-temperature applications.
