Stainless Steel 347/347H Plates and Sheets are stabilized austenitic stainless steels with Chromium (17–20%), Nickel (9–13%), and Niobium (or Columbium) added for increased resistance against intergranular corrosion. The Carbon content varies slightly: 347 has ≤0.08%, whereas 347H has 0.04–0.10%, which provides increased strength at higher temperatures. The mechanical properties consist of a tensile strength of minimum 515 MPa, yield strength of minimum 205 MPa, and 40% elongation. These grades have outstanding mechanical and oxidation resistance up to 870°C (1600°F), which is perfect for thermal cycling and long-term operation under demanding environments.

These plates are cold-rolled for a smooth finish and have superior corrosion resistance. They are available in thicknesses ranging from 0.5mm to 12mm and widths up to 1500mm, which is ideal for precision applications and structural components.
